JOINTSEAL P50 is general-purpose acid silicone sealant , a one-component, acid-cured organic silicone sealant known for its excellent adhesion, weather resistance, and waterproofing properties. It is suitable for bonding and sealing a variety of substrates, making it an ideal choice for both home improvement and construction projects.

APPLICATIONS
1. As a bedding material, formed-in-place gasket, formed-in-place bumper
2. Adhering trim,name plates,signs
3. Sealing around sinks, faucets, showers, tubs, toilets and vents
4. For most marine applications: sealing between hull and deck, most boat decks, windows, port lights, windshields and hatches.
USABLE LIFE AND STORAGE
Store below 90F(32ºC) in a dry place. JOINTSEAL General Purpose Silicone Sealant has a usable life of 12months from
date of manufacture.
LIMITATIONS
Not for structural glazing
Not paintable
Not suited for prolonged submersion in water or below-grade applications
May not adhere to oily woods or be compatible with substrates made of methylmethacrylate,polycarbonate,polypropylene,
polyethylene and polytetrafluoroethylene
Not suitable for surfaces that might bleed oils, plasticizers or solvents, or porous surfaces such as cement like materials,
stone or surfaces prone to attack by weak acids
May not cure properly if used in spaces confined from atmospheric moisture
May cause corrosion on some brass, copper, zinc or zinc alloy-containing fixtures(galvanized)
Not for use where abrasion and physical abuse are encountered
